Uhhh, hello?

Hi! Sorry to everyone but we haven't been very good at keeping up to date on the blog. Karrah usually does this, so bare with me!
There is a lot that has changed since the last entery! For one, Gracyn is crawling now. I mean full bore, accross the room in no time crawling!!! Wow, has that changed things! We also had a first call to the Poision Control Center. I thought that I was doin good, I put cabinet locks on all that cabinets that held "dangrous" items and I put outlet covers on all the outlets, etc. But I fogot to pick up the Terro Ant Bait trap. Well, she noticed it and slipped it right into her mouth! I noticed it right away and wiped out her mouth! Called mom and she gave me the number to call. They said that there wasn't anything toxic in it and that if she got two big moth fulls then you might see some direaha and or vomiting, but other than that she would be fine. Nothing happend, but man was I freakin out! So needless to say I'm a bit more cautious of what's on the floor!
Also, we just found out that Gracyn is going to be a big sister! We are 6 weeks along today. Karrah goes back in on July 17th for her ultrasound! We had thought that we were around 7 weeks a week ago and went in to see the doc, but she was only measuring at 5 weeks. So March 1st is the expected due date! That puts them at about 16 months apart. A little scarey, but were very excited! This was a planned thing, so only ourselfs to blame! Karrah's morning sickness has reared it's ugly little head again. She get's set off by the slightest smells or even the untimely mention of a certain food. Let's just say I have bad timing for food suggestions. Or maybe it's just me cause I seem to make her gag every time I mention something! ha ha
We have also taken our first little trip without Gracyn. That was rough, but also an awesome time! We went to Nashville, TN with our friends Cliff & Megan. Left on a Thursday and came back on Sunday. I got a new hat and Karrah got a new pair of boots for Mothers Day. We watched our favorite "should be" recording artists, Mitchell Ogelsby and Lewis Copeland! Lewis just got a record contract with an Indie label and has a new album due out in August. You need to check both these guys out on Myspace where you can hear their music. AMAZIN! I will make sure we get some pics posted of the trip! I will also try and get a clip of Gracyn tearin accross the room! =]
I hope this makes up for our long absence and will try to make sure we keep this thing more up ta date. Hope all our friends and famliy are doin good and as always yall are in our prayers.

Wow... it has been awhile!

Sorry, time just flies by with a little one. Here are some recent pictures of Gracyn.




So much has happened the past 2 months! Gracyn is sitting up on her own, rolls from her front to back and back to front, she is eating baby food, and is trying to crawl! Crazy! She also says "mama" when she is mad and loves to say "dada" Oh! And as of today she cant sit in the shopping cart like a big girl! =)



We also did the Race for Cure, Gracyn was a trooper. Only she made mommy and daddy carry her the last mile... she is too funny.



Geoff and I celebrated out 1 year wedding annv April 11. I cant believe it has already been a year! I have been blessed with an amazing hubby!



I promise I will write more soon! We have just had a lot going on lately... maybe I will explain more later! Hope all is well with everyone!

So Gracyn has accomplished so many things since I have last wrote. I have been so busy with work and spending time with Baby G and daddy I havent had any time to blog. But that's okay. I much rather spend time with them! So, over the past few months Gracyn has found her feet and they are ALWAYS in her mouth!


She is rolling onto her belly now! She has been rolling onto her side for a few weeks now and has finally figured out how to get all the way over. But once she gets there she hates it! She doesnt like being on her belly at all!



She also loves her Bumbo!! She will sit in it in the mornings and watch cartoons while we get ready.


Over the weekend Gracyn and I went to Ohio with my good friend Jamie for her baby shower. Gracyn was a little ham... as always! Kaelyn is due in 6 weeks! Gracyn can't wait. They are going to be BFF. =)



Ha I took this picture before we left for the shower, and she is so serious! She can now focus on the camera and it is about impossible to get a picture of her smiling! And she has some crazy hair to go along with it!



Gracyn has her 4 month appt on Thursday! So we will see how she is doing. She is getting chunky! She has some thighs on her too! She will also start on rice cereal soon! I will be back to let you know how the Dr appt goes!!

Back to Work!

I have been a terrible Blogger lately! I went back to work last week and I think it is the hardest thing I have ever done! I love my job and all the people I work with have been so nice. When I was at work my first day I got this wonderful video!
What a wonderful husband I have! He is awesome!! She loves spending time with her daddy when mommy is at work!

Well the other day I stayed home with Gracyn and we enjoyed a fun snow day! But daddy had to go to work unfortunately! I took some pictures of Gracyn out in the snow. I don't think she had very much fun!


Gracyn is doing really well with the formula too. She loves to eat. She is a piggy! She eats about 5-6 oz every 3 hours. And she is putting on some weight! Yay!!! We weighed her yesterday and she is 12 pds 4 oz now! I am really happy about that. Well I will try to write more often! Promise! But working full-time and being a mommy takes up a lot of time! But I love every minute of it.

Enjoying my time...

Just a few more days and I am back to work. I can't believe I have been off for almost a year now. It has went so fast and I have enjoyed it so much. I loved spending all day with Geoff on his days off. It was so much fun when I was pregnant and we could cuddle up on the couch and watch movies all day! It is going to be really hard for us to go back to just seeing each other during the evenings and weekends. I really wish I could stay home with our little one too. She is getting so big before my eyes. I cant imagine what it is going to be like not seeing her all day long! It is going to be really hard for me I think. I just can't grasp the thought of not being home with the two of them. It is hard enough when Geoff is at the firehouse ever 3rd day. And I really haven't been away from Gracyn at all! She has went everywhere with me for the past 12 months now! Then I think about it and it could be a lot worse. At least Geoff is going to be home with her on his days off and my grandma will have her the other days. She will be in great hands!

So Gracyn just keeps getting bigger and bigger! She has been really enjoying a lot of tummy time lately. She hated it at first, but we learned if you get down on the floor with her and talk to her she loves it. So here are a few pics of her having fun with daddy!

She has also started holding her bottle! I don't know if it is kinda early for her to be doing that... but every time you put the bottle in her mouth she grabs it and holds it there! She is so funny!



Gracyn and I are off to play! I am getting as much mommy time as I can! I only have a few more days of this. I will leave you with my favorite video of Gracyn. She is giggling a lot now... and I love it!!!

What a big girl!!

Gracyn is getting bigger and bigger everyday! We weighed her at Uncle David and Aunt Leia's house last night and she is now 11 pds 4 oz. Thank goodness she is gaining some weight! I feel a lot better now.

And when we got home last night Gracyn was laying on our bed while Geoff and I were talking and playing with her. And she giggled at us several times with a huge smile on her face! It was awesome!

Here is a video of Gracyn this morning on her playmat. She loves to kick everything with her feet and talk to the sun above her! Little miss personality!

I got a JOB!!!

Just thought I would share the news! I finally got a job! I start on January 19. It has been wonderful staying home with Geoff and Gracyn and through out my pregnancy. But unfortunately I have to go back to work! It will be nice to have 2 incomes again! We can go out and enjoy doing things again! Yay!!! Now back to enjoying my last two weeks as being a stay at home mommy & wife!

Happy New Year!!

Well here it is another year! Crazy how time just flies by! I cant believe I got married last year and now have a wonderful baby girl!

So Gracyn's Christmas was crazy! She got so much stuff. Her clothes now occupy the guest closet too! Not joking! I seriously think she has more clothes then me. She also got a play mat, a walker, and a Bright Starts Tropical Fun Around We Go! Activity Station From Uncle David, Aunt Leia, & cousin Connor! Check it out!

Doesn't that look like fun! I cant wait to see her playing on it! It will be here before we know it. She is already smiling at us all the time. Speaking of that, Gracyn and I were out shopping today and she refused to be in her car seat... so I was trying to hold Gracyn (like a big girl... because that is the only way she likes it) and push the cart. The things you manage to do when you are a mommy! She was a little ham. She smiled at everyone that walked by us. She loves to show off those dimples! Daddy has been hitting the gym a lot more! He is going to have to scare away all those boys someday! =)

The three of us have been sick with a cold. Poor Gracyn has had a stuffy nose. Now it is just running all the time!Even sick, she is still as happy as can be. And since I was sick, my milk supply has went down a lot! I'm so bummed. I have been busy trying to re-establish that. It's hard work! I am feeding her like crazy and pumping too. I am taking some herbal supplements; Fenugreek and Blessed Thistle to try and get it up again. It seems to be getting better. I have had to supplement with formula a few times and I hate it! But what do you do when she is screaming because she is still hungry. I am just praying I can get it back to where it was. She is eating so much now! And I don't want her to have formula at all.

Gracyn had her 2 month Dr. appt. last week too. She had to get two more shots! It made me want to cry. I wish I could get them for her. She did better than her 1 month shots. And she now weighs 10 pd 10.5 oz. and is 21.5 in long. She really didn't grow very much since her last appt. Which the Dr. wasn't too concerned about right now. Since Geoff and I are not really large people, she just might be a petite girl. It still makes me worry, I want her to be a healthy girl! It also makes me concerned that she isn't getting enough food. But we will see how she has grown at her 4 month visit. Pray she is growing good!

I am off to bed! Gracyn is sleeping through the night now and it is wonderful! She is still in our room for now... I just can't put her in her room yet! I think we will do that at 3 months. I will try to write again soon!
