Ready for Santa!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I know that we did and I ate way too much! But thats okay when you are pregnant... right? We enjoyed our nice 4 days weekend and even managed to get all 3 trees up and the stairs decorated! Here are a few pics of the trees...




Miss Gracyn LOVES the trees. She points at them and says "tree" over and over again. She is actually pretty gentle with the trees so far... we will see how that goes.

Geoff also started putting the under the cabinet lighting and backsplash up in our kitchen yesterday! It looks amazing already. Here is a section that he finished up yesterday!



I have also entered my 3rd trimester this week! Crazy to think I am already 27 weeks and havent even started on the nursery yet! I have a lot to do still... but I'm sure it will get done! =) I had to go to the Dr. on Monday because I felt like I have having contractions and a lot of pressure. But it wasnt anything serious. Dr. said I just over did it this past weekend and I needed to take it easy for a few days. Which is much easier said then done if you have a 1 year old you know what I mean!

Gracyn is getting so big. She is starting to walk a lot more. I have a video I will post on here soon. Well here is a picture of little Gracyn from yesterday. She is so sweet; I just love her to pieces! Cant imagine how much I am going to love the next one!

Gracyn loves her new hat... not really

So grammy and grandpa bought Gracyn a new winter hat and it is adorable!!! Gracyn HATES hats... We have tried and tried to get her to wear one and she screams. So today; I distracted her for a little bit and got the hat on her. She had me laughing so hard with her facial expressions I then got her giggling. Then I was laughing so hard I was crying and then she was doing some hilarious belly laughs along with momma... so the hat stayed on for about 10 minutes! It is a start! The joys of being a mommy. I love it.

Last pics I want to share... I got this text last weekend from my hubby with this adorable picture of Gracyn. I honestly have the best husband in the world! He sends me pics all the time of 2 of them and lets me know how much they miss me through out the day. He is awesome! Sound ask for a better husband and daddy for our girls! =)

Congrats to my mom and Curt!!

Finally after 6 years they went to Key West and got married!!! I couldn't be happier for them!! They had a beautiful ceremony on the beath with just the two of them; and then came home this past weekend and had a wonderful reception for their families and close friend! Congrats!

24 weeks and growing!!!

Where has this pregnancy gone? I keep asking myself that every day now. I cant believe I am almost into the 3rd trimester already! With Gracyn's pregnancy I had so much time to enjoy every little detail... this one not so much. But what so you expect when you have a toddler running around? I had my monthly Dr appt today and I have gained another 2 pounds this past month. Not too bad... I am only up 10 pounds so far. I am happy with that. Especially with all the Reese Cups and Fudge Rounds I eat daily... but they are so good!! I cant tell myself no. O-well! I also got to here Annalyn's heartbeat and it still sounds perfect! I cant wait to meet her and hold her in my arms.

And Miss Gracyn is changing so much everyday!! She still isnt walking... but she is taking a lot of steps. She will be there soon. She loves to try and repeat anything you say. If I am yelling at the puppy; she is usually mocking me. So we have to be careful now what we say around her... she is very good at picking up new words! She is getting her 3rd tooth right now and this one isnt as easy as the other 2! The last few nights have been terrible. She has been waking up a few times throughout the night. Hopefully it will pass soon, poor girl!

Also, here is a new family pic.... you can see my growing belly! I have only gained 7 pounds so far... so not too bad. I will be 23 weeks on Sunday.

I know I really suck at this...

Well so much has happened since my post many months ago! Life has been so hectic and crazy I havent had time to write much of anything. This past weekend our little Gracyn turned 1!! We celebrated by having a big barnyard birthday party. I keep asking myself, what happened to this year. It seems like we were just bringing her home from the hospital... here are a few pics from her big day!





Well we also found out last week that Gracyn is going to have a little sister!! We are so excited and busy planning for the arrival of this one... at least we wont have to worry about buying any clothes!


I promise I will get better at this blogging sooner or later. I want to write more about my pregnancy, but how do you have time when you work full time and have a 1 year old running around?! We also got a new puppy right before Gracyn's birthday!!! Meet Gypsy Mae. She is such a sweet girl!

I will write again soon... promise! I am going to be busy making the bedding for the nursery soon. So I will keep everyone updated on that! I have picked out the fabrics and have been getting them ordered! Cant wait to see it all together!

Uhhh, hello?

Hi! Sorry to everyone but we haven't been very good at keeping up to date on the blog. Karrah usually does this, so bare with me!
There is a lot that has changed since the last entery! For one, Gracyn is crawling now. I mean full bore, accross the room in no time crawling!!! Wow, has that changed things! We also had a first call to the Poision Control Center. I thought that I was doin good, I put cabinet locks on all that cabinets that held "dangrous" items and I put outlet covers on all the outlets, etc. But I fogot to pick up the Terro Ant Bait trap. Well, she noticed it and slipped it right into her mouth! I noticed it right away and wiped out her mouth! Called mom and she gave me the number to call. They said that there wasn't anything toxic in it and that if she got two big moth fulls then you might see some direaha and or vomiting, but other than that she would be fine. Nothing happend, but man was I freakin out! So needless to say I'm a bit more cautious of what's on the floor!
Also, we just found out that Gracyn is going to be a big sister! We are 6 weeks along today. Karrah goes back in on July 17th for her ultrasound! We had thought that we were around 7 weeks a week ago and went in to see the doc, but she was only measuring at 5 weeks. So March 1st is the expected due date! That puts them at about 16 months apart. A little scarey, but were very excited! This was a planned thing, so only ourselfs to blame! Karrah's morning sickness has reared it's ugly little head again. She get's set off by the slightest smells or even the untimely mention of a certain food. Let's just say I have bad timing for food suggestions. Or maybe it's just me cause I seem to make her gag every time I mention something! ha ha
We have also taken our first little trip without Gracyn. That was rough, but also an awesome time! We went to Nashville, TN with our friends Cliff & Megan. Left on a Thursday and came back on Sunday. I got a new hat and Karrah got a new pair of boots for Mothers Day. We watched our favorite "should be" recording artists, Mitchell Ogelsby and Lewis Copeland! Lewis just got a record contract with an Indie label and has a new album due out in August. You need to check both these guys out on Myspace where you can hear their music. AMAZIN! I will make sure we get some pics posted of the trip! I will also try and get a clip of Gracyn tearin accross the room! =]
I hope this makes up for our long absence and will try to make sure we keep this thing more up ta date. Hope all our friends and famliy are doin good and as always yall are in our prayers.

Wow... it has been awhile!

Sorry, time just flies by with a little one. Here are some recent pictures of Gracyn.




So much has happened the past 2 months! Gracyn is sitting up on her own, rolls from her front to back and back to front, she is eating baby food, and is trying to crawl! Crazy! She also says "mama" when she is mad and loves to say "dada" Oh! And as of today she cant sit in the shopping cart like a big girl! =)



We also did the Race for Cure, Gracyn was a trooper. Only she made mommy and daddy carry her the last mile... she is too funny.



Geoff and I celebrated out 1 year wedding annv April 11. I cant believe it has already been a year! I have been blessed with an amazing hubby!



I promise I will write more soon! We have just had a lot going on lately... maybe I will explain more later! Hope all is well with everyone!

Our big girl!

So Gracyn has accomplished so many things since I have last wrote. I have been so busy with work and spending time with Baby G and daddy I havent had any time to blog. But that's okay. I much rather spend time with them! So, over the past few months Gracyn has found her feet and they are ALWAYS in her mouth!


She is rolling onto her belly now! She has been rolling onto her side for a few weeks now and has finally figured out how to get all the way over. But once she gets there she hates it! She doesnt like being on her belly at all!



She also loves her Bumbo!! She will sit in it in the mornings and watch cartoons while we get ready.


Over the weekend Gracyn and I went to Ohio with my good friend Jamie for her baby shower. Gracyn was a little ham... as always! Kaelyn is due in 6 weeks! Gracyn can't wait. They are going to be BFF. =)



Ha I took this picture before we left for the shower, and she is so serious! She can now focus on the camera and it is about impossible to get a picture of her smiling! And she has some crazy hair to go along with it!



Gracyn has her 4 month appt on Thursday! So we will see how she is doing. She is getting chunky! She has some thighs on her too! She will also start on rice cereal soon! I will be back to let you know how the Dr appt goes!!
